Albi Windows

Albi Cathedral

The vast interior of Albi Cathedral. The detail of the design and art is impressive.

Great shot (as usual!), I know how shooting in a church/cathedral is just like shooting in a cave. Did you use a tripod? (and they allowed it??)

The great thing about digital is that allows you to crank up the ISO. I usually shoot at 200 for this I changed to an ISO of 800 and took a reading off the lower wall below the windows.

I difficult capture for sure and it came out OK for a hand held shot.

Off season I could probably get away with using a tripod but as this was recently the interior was crowded and I am sure would not have allowed to use a tripod.
