The Tarn at Albi

A view of the bridges over the River Tarn at Albi which was taken as we stolled around the gardens outside of the Toulouse-Lautrec museum.

Beautiful shot Wilf, I have very fond memories of Albi. It was the last time my mother came to visit us in France before passing a way.Loving the style of your daily by the way, good work.

What a lovely view. A bit different than the France with which I am familar. I'm much more familiar with the upper half than the lower half. Looks like a lovely place for a stroll

Thanks for all you lovely comments.

We have some guest staying with us at the moment so my computer time is limited and also for checking out other DPB's

I think nerissa asked if I had any images of the outside of Albi Cathedral. I do but it has a very sober brick exterior compared to the interior, I see if I have something that will show it’s sombre exterior.

I can tell you Marieta, in real life it's as beautiful as this photo. And it's not only Albi but you find gorgeous southern villages everywhere in this region. I love it ;)

No wonder you've got guests Wilf!!

I do suppose that when I finally have enough money and can convince hubby to visit France with me we shall have to visit the southern part of the country too. So beautiful!

One of my favorite views anywhere! I lived in Albi from 1990-1992 and my first daughter was born there. Everything about it brings back waves of nostalgia - keep up the good work!
