We went out late yesterday afternoon for a ride on our bikes and stopped off at the Town Hall (Mairie.) In our rural community of Roquemaure the Town Hall is only open two afternoons a week. That’s enough for a population of 300.
As I had already photographed the Mayor it seemed only proper that I photograph the charming and always smiling Valérie. So this is the right hand of the mayor, Valérie THOMAS, the secretary who does all the work, or so she says.

Ok, does she have broadband...haha..tell them we'll never give up...:-) and yes, that's a charming smile.
She does look friendly - here is an idea.... blog from her pc and enjoy the broadband :-)

Lisi: Yes she does have Broadband - its is the limit of where broad band reaches.
Marieta: As our little Town Hall is right next to the primary school there is already another 5 computers hooked up to the same connection. I'll pass on your compliments to the Mayor (smile)
She looks very sweet and friendly. And if she's a secretary, she probably does do all the work! ;)
