Little house

This is the beautiful house we can see on the days when we head off down to one of the three market towns that surround us. It is like a dream house from a fairy tale and looks so serene and livable and although it has been maintained we don’t think it has been lived in for many years. It was while we were winding our way towards this little house we found our
shepherd -

“For months we have seen this little picturesque house. It sits way back from one of the country road we drive along and today we made our way along even smaller country lanes to find what may be described as the ‘Little House on the Prairie.’”

What a great picture. I agree it looks like a fairy tale house.

I would love to convince my hubby we should move to France and into this house or a house like it. I'm pretty sure he's got his heart set on Scotland or Ireland, though, which is fine. They are the lands of his ancestors and I'd be perfectly happy to move there and just take a vacation or 2 to France! Maybe to Réal and Paris, I think.

soosha_q: It's better the other way round. Move to France and visit Ireland or Scotland for a vacation for a week or two. Scotland is a little wet for me, as is Ireland. Both countries are also the land of my ancestors. I was born and grew up in Scotland which I am pround of, but I prefer a little more sun and warmth.

Bonsoir,

Didier

I love these kind of houses. YOu just don't get houses like this in North America. Well, maybe they do have some in Quebec. Never been. But it's not something I've ever seen in pictures of the Eastern Provinces.
