Church of Saint Michel

The interior of the church of Saint Michel at Gaillac, not to many takers for the coolness or anything else for that matter.

It is nice to wander round these lovely old places and feel the history that surrounds whilst doing so, and as Dianne mentioned yesterday the wine of Gaillac that can be had next door makes for a pleasant detour.

looks like a great place to escape the oppressive heat. even in edinburgh we've had 30 degrees, so i hate to imagine what it's been like in rural france. keep drinking water and partaking of a nice apéro in the shade!
