We did have a storm last night and a little rain and it refreshed the air a little while, but we are back to hot, hot, hot.
Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun as well as the odd photographer. This deserted street in Albi, Capital town of the Tarn, shows the shutters are closed and no one is moving.
Time for an ice cream and a cool drink.

Speaking of storms! The high yesterday was 101F and around 6:45 in the evening we had a huge storm that knocked out power to over 1/2 million people throughout the St. Louis and surrounding areas! Tha's our biggest power outage yet! I hope the storms for you were nicer!
