The Village of Puycelci

A nice bit of open plan terrace in the ancient picturesque village of Puycelci, just what need in the 35°C heat we are having at the moment.

It is a little hot in the south of France again, but I am not really complaining.

Great shot as usual, I love that type of architectural image!

What a lovely old building. We wish for summer over here, but surely not 35 degrees. It can get as hot over here in summer, so you have my sympathy.
Thank's for the info on your granddad. Jagersfontein is only 110 kms southwest of Bloemfontein, but unfortunately I have never been there.

What a nice old building. Like Kris, I also like the design. Oh, BTW, i'm so sorry for the loss of your team.

Oh, I have fond memories of Puycelci! Have you been to the "Auberge" restaurant in the little square by the church? We used to go there for great salads in the hot summer! Was the "Chemin des Voleurs" sign from Puycelci as well - I think I recognised it!!

Diane, Yes the restaurant is still there, or at least there was one near the church, but seemed to be part of a hotel not a little Auberge. And yes the sign "Chemin des Voleurs" is also from Puycelci, right at the back of the village if you know what I mean!

That's the kind of weather we had over Independance Day weekend. Around 35C or so and muggy and rainy. I wish I had had a nice little retreat like this to go to!
