River Aude

We are back from out little trip around France and a long weekend in Germany visiting some friends. We are catching up with all the things that are nice to leave behind when you set off and leave the daily grind, although the daily grind is not that much of a grind and coming home makes you appreciate the good things that we do have in our lives and the beautiful place where we live.

In the end we drove 3524 Kilometres had some great times and of course I will publish some photographs from our travels.

This photograph is of the River Aude taken in the Aude region of France in Les Corbières a couple of days ago when we were visiting
Quillan a town that nestles in the foothills of the Pyrenees and 10 Km. from famed Da Vinci Code location; Rennes-le-Chateau. It is a view that reminds me of the type of scenery that I photographed a number of years ago in Yosemite National Park.
